The basic resource of this initiative is the comic entitled The New Neighbours. Its characters and stories invite students to think about various situations related to coexisting with other people. The comic serves as the common thread, introducing the subjects that will be tackled later in the different Educational Sequences that make up the project.

This resource is completed with Sergio's notebook, the members of his group of friends are introduced and some of the new neighbours' cultural aspects are presented.

THE NEW NEIGHBOURS is an educational project to prevent xenophobia and racism among adolescents aged 11 to 14. The cornerstone of this initiative is a comic. On its pages, boys and girls will find characters and stories that invite them to think about the values of citizenship, migratory processes and multicultural social interaction.
